YOUTH    MINISTRY

Romans 12:1-2
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Our goal is to lead students towards a loving relationship with God, through hearts and minds transformed by the gospel.
We pursue this goal through the following commitments:
Teaching: We are committed to regularly providing students the opportunity to hear and interpret the Scriptures together. At the center of all teaching is the gospel of Jesus. We proclaim the gospel that students may hear it and be transformed by it through the working of the Holy Spirit.
Intentional Relationships: We are committed to pursuing relationships with students that are intentionally displaying the fruit of the gospel. It is important for students to have relationships with adults who love Jesus and who love them. Students should be able to follow their leaders as their leaders follow Christ. These relationships will provide guidance, accountability, encouragement, love, and exemplify what it looks like to trust in the Lord.
Unity: We are committed to working towards creating a fellowship of students who are unified in their love for Christ. It is important that students have a fellowship of other like minded students whom they can rely on and follow Christ together. Our goal is that this fellowship would be centered around Jesus as the most desired of our hearts. This kind of fellowship displays the gospel to each other and provides support for one another.

Prayer: We are committed to praying for our students and giving them opportunities to pray together. Transformation in their lives and in the lives of their friends will only come from God's power. It is this reason that we continually ask God to change the lives of our students.
Evangelism: We are committed to extending the gospel to those outside the walls of our church. A heart transformed by the gospel will want to boast of Jesus to others. We want to both equip students to share the gospel with their friends as well as provide specific events for the purpose of students inviting their friends who don't know Christ.
