Hey everyone. Hope you are doing well.

I'm Eric, the youth pastor at EBF. Currently living in quarantine with my wife Kari and our kids Jack(9) and Mercy(6).

We have been doing well so far being at home. The kids are getting a little restless and crazy, we will see how it goes. We have been having fun together, but also have plenty of moments were the tension is high with the kids.

We are really blessed that Kari works with the school district. This means she is home while the kids are home. And we recently found out school employees are still payed during this time.

You can be praying for us in a few ways. Jack was sent home from school sick the day before school was cancelled. We are unaware if he has the virus as testing is not available. We are staying away from others because of this and hoping that the rest of us don't get sick as well. Pray for the little guy as I think he is getting pretty bored and tired of his cough. You can also pray for us trying to keep the kids busy, provide some education for them, and trying to parent them well when we are all locked in together. Pray for Kari as a lot of the physical work around the house falls on her because of my back injury.

Looking forward to this study and hope it is a benefit to us all!

I am so excited about this Bible study/forum! What a great idea!

I am Kelly and staying at home (for the most part) with my husband, David, my two kids (Ariana, 14, and Everett 12). We are healthy and doing well for now. It has been an unexpected blessing for me as I am enjoying slowing down and getting to tackle some projects that I have wanted to do for a long time.

Please pray for us as we navigate ongoing challenges in our family dynamics for the Lord to remind me of all that I can be thankful for. I want to make good use of this time and be faithful in spending regular time with the Lord.

Hi, I'm so glad we are doing this online study. I miss everyone and like this opportunity to fellowship & study Psalms 23. I'm well and so far all my clients are well. What the future holds for my working is yet to be seen, prayers for God's provision during this time.

Hello!

I am Stephanie Bolme, wife of Mark. We are the tall people who sit over by the Davises. :D We live on a beautiful farm in Marcola. This sort of online study is right up my alley!

I have a presumptive case of Covid-19. Mark is mildly ill, and we are assuming he has it as well. With the current quantity of tests available, we were told only those sick enough for hospitalization are being tested. The ER doctor (I was evaluated for periodic low oxygen) said assume it's Covid-19 and quarantine ourselves. We had already prepared for that and are well stocked. Katie is helping with perishables that we need. We feel blessed and surrounded, even while in social isolation.

Prayers for recovery are much appreciated.

Jared and Holly Falk here.
We have three kids: Jonah (9), James (7), and John (4); all of whom Holly is homeschooling. We live out in Junction City.

Life hasn't changed too much yet for us. Jared still goes into work and Holly and the boys were homeschooling anyway. We already miss our church family. Extracurricular activities have all halted, so prayers for Holly since she is getting cabin-fever. We would like prayer also that God would compel us to serve people and seek him instead of falling into the temptation to be lazy.

Grateful for this study, looking forward to communicating with you all about God and his word.

Hi everyone, so good to hear from you all. Charlie and I are at home with our girls (Jameson, 6, Dillon, 3)

Charlie is working mostly online but also coordinating some video projects. Jameson has a persistent cough but other than that we're all healthy and adapting to our new schedule at home.

We're grateful for so much right now and there are constant reminders to be in prayer for one another. Several of our family members are working in the medical community and are under intense stress, and our neighbor's young son has been tested for the virus, his cough and fever has now spread to his siblings.

Thank you for this opportunity to study God's word together and be reminded of the firm foundation he's given us in Christ Jesus.

My name is Richard Roberts, husband of Katie and father of Charlotte (19, with husband Simon, also 19), Grace (17), and Ricky (15).

I am coming into town daily, but Katie and the kids are self-isolating on our property in Marcola. Everyone is healthy so far, and enjoying the slowdown. Ricky, especially, is liking the idea that he won't have to go to school for awhile. And we are grateful that we can now have internet access at home and communicate so much easier. Thanks for setting this up, Eric!

Please pray that our hearts would be fixed on the purposes of Christ Jesus in the midst of this. I am a self-isolator by nature, and it can be easy to settle in, rather than to reach out to help where I can at this time.

I'm looking forward to being shepherded!

Hi! I am Carolyn Rust, mother of Bo and Marlea, daughter of Donna Lowe. Landlord to Noah (a friend of Marlea's who moved in a month ago).

I am still going to work, but limiting my interaction with people as much as I can. As the only driver in my home I have no choice but to be out and about.

We are doing okay. Bo will be home today and enter into an even stranger form of isolation since he has been away at school. Marlea has been working and that looks like it will continue for the foreseeable future. My employment is steady but we will be cutting hours due to the overall slow down associated with the pandemic. My mom has not seen too many changes to her schedule, but will probably get really sick of everyone being around the house soon. Noah may go spend time in Nevada with his mom soon, but that remains uncertain at this time.

Noah, Bo and I operate semi-isolated fairly well. Marlea and Mom need people around and like to be out and about more. My nerves get frayed caring for Mom's needs, and keeping the peace drains me more than anything.

I am truly looking forward to this study. Being reminded of God's goodness, drawing my eyes to him in the midst of turmoil, personality clashes. and various challenges is something I long for.

Hi everyone! This is Laurie Christianson, one of the three Women's Ministry servants.

Steve and I are feeling well at this time, though I am staying away from people b/c I had a fever last week. It is definitely a very different time for me, as I'm so used to being out and about either at church or helping my daughter-in-law with the five foster kids. Please pray for continued wisdom as I prepare the remaining two lessons for this year in the book of Hebrews, and that I will let my hope in Jesus be the anchor for my soul!

I would appreciate prayer for my son Gabe and his family in SD- they have been planning to move up here soon, but housing is a challenge. They are awaiting the birth of their little girl in July, so there is a time frame. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy/birth.

Please also pray for my other daughter- in-law Rachel as she cares for five kids between the ages of 2 and 8, who have many emotional challenges. They are having us stay away since we are in the vulnerable population and the kids are in so many different settings, with visitations, etc.

I'm so looking forward to this study together!

Still in shock ! Praying and staying home. I feel so blessed to have a home, income and food to see me through this crisis. Keep wanting to help in some way. We have a fireman on active duty here and i pray for all first responders.
Wait for the Lord and he will guide me and my family how to help each other. The duration is going to be long and i pray to help the EBF family as well as my own to help them as much as I can when called upon.

Wow, I fell behind on the comment board already....
My name is Renee Stebbeds. This coming Easter will be my one year anniversary here at EBF. And it’s been a true blessing for sure. So far so good health wise. So thankful for this place to meet and study the word together!
Thank you for doing this!
Prayers for all who will be struggling to figure out how to make ends meet as this situation continues to unfold. My husband and I own and operate our own Land Clearing and Development company which represents a large overhead on our heavy equipment payments, insurances and maintenance. God has been faithful for these past 6 years of business and we will continue to trust his plans, albeit nervously, lol.....God is good!
Blessings to you all, friends.

Hello Brothers and Sisters.
My husband and I are doing well. My sister also lives with us. We are 66, 65, and 63 years old. So we’re being pretty careful about not seeing the grandkids or our children. Grandma lives next door. She’s 90 and doing well. PTL
Tom is a farmer and farming has been deemed an essential industry. They work outside mostly. I’ve continued my regular counseling schedule, now via phone and zoom. We’ve gardened a lot last week.
I’m concerned about people who have lost there jobs and those who are isolated with underlying health problems. This study will provide wonderful truths to comfort my own heart and equip us to comfort others with the comfort we receive.

Joyce Hart here!
So happy to join this group of dear believers!
Jim and I are sheltered here and doing well. Children and grandchildren in Wyoming are sheltered all together and trying to do school online(2 teachers and 3 college students!). 3 kids up north in Portland and Seattle with a daughter working in a senior living facility. We are staying away from her but especially miss her little ones. Please pray for Jim as he has recently been diagnosed with AFIB which has resulted in a stroke in one eye. Waiting to see how much vision remains in left eye.

Hi, I am Joyce Lanz staying happy and healthy. Grateful to have the freedom to do my walks essential for my heart health. I have had most of my doctors appointments cancelled by them for a change and I understand.
I am really glad to be part of the Bible study on Psalm 23.
I have been pondering on "green pastures" and have come to the following understanding that it does not refer to food but are mentioned as places of cool and refreshing rest. The speaker in the psalm must have needed this rest in his life.

Hi! Toni Muller here.

I'm the computer programmer at Lane Forest Products, which is an essential business. Thankfully, my job is essential, as well, so I am working my regular hours - just started working at home (in my PJs!) Wednesday.

My 20-year-old son Ned lives with me and is looking forward to the start of Spring term at LCC.

Please pray for Ned to continue the forward progress he has been making in school and in life. Pray for both my children (daughter Éowyn is 22) to come to Jesus.

Greetings, brothers and sisters! I am Sue Pepper-Reed, married to wonderful John Reed. We are healthy and trusting the Lord for His care. I will probably be laid off tomorrow, so will be applying for unemployment, and working a little remotely. I am studying to become a certified Biblical Counselor, so I have plenty to tackle with readings and papers. I am thankful for this time the Lord has given me. I am being mentored by Karan Malpass, and she is a TOTAL blessing and encouragement to me! :) John and I have kiddos and grands in Bend and also in North Carolina, and they are all doing well. I love Psalm 23, and look forward to the study!
