Biblical counseling is God’s provision in the Church for the help that we need to live life fully, walk in hope, and to become more like Him.  Because we believe that humanity was made to love and worship God, we trust Him to explain and reveal what makes a life flourish, gives us hope, and changes us.  Therefore, relying on the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures, we aim to help people understand how a vital relationship with Jesus Christ is the central component to emotional healing, overcoming life-dominating sin issues, and dealing with life’s difficulties.  Whether working through broken relationships, guilt or shame, habitual sins, grief and loss, discouragement, or many other difficulties, our desire is to help you trust Christ and to connect to His Church, so that He receives all the credit in rescuing us.

While we believe that this help is provided in the context of all Christian community, it is sometimes necessary to be helped by gifted individuals who meet with us one-on-one to discuss particular struggles in our lives.  EBF has free help available from biblical counselors who have been trained and certified by organizations such as CCEF, ACBC (NANC), EBC, and seminaries, who are available to walk alongside of you, as people also in need of Jesus, and who desire to help you understand all that God has revealed about Himself, about you, and about your circumstances.  If you would like to meet with a biblical counselor, please contact the church office.  They will take down your information and have one of our trained counselors speak with you.
