We believe that the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit are God’s provision in the Church for help that we need to live life fully, to walk in hope, and to become all that God has made us to be.  Because we believe that humanity was made to love and worship God as the center of who we are, we believe that knowing Him and listening to Him is the primary aspect of our growth into what He has designed us to be.  Therefore, relying on the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures, we aim to help people understand how Jesus Christ is the worker of our emotional healing, the liberator of what oppresses us, and our hope in the face of the sufferings and difficulties of living in a broken world.  Whether working through damaged relationships, the feelings of overwhelming guilt or shame, the struggle to fight habitual sins, the sorrows and darkness of grief and loss, overwhelming discouragement, our desire is to help you see Jesus, to hear His heart, to connect to His people, and to understand yourself better in the light of His truth, so that He receives all the credit in rescuing us and restoring us.

While we believe that this help is provided in the context of all Christian community, it is sometimes necessary to meet with a brother or sister one-on-one to discuss particular struggles in our lives.  EBF desires to walk alongside of you, as people also in need of Jesus, and who desire to help you understand all that God has revealed about Himself, about you, and about your circumstances.  If you would like to meet with someone, please contact the church office.  They will take down your information and have one of our helpers speak with you.
